Mobility matters!

I don’t know about you, but as I’m getting older I’m definitely starting to creak a little bit.

Getting out of bed is less ‘fluid-like motion’ and more ‘oooh and owww’.

The old dieting mindset version of me would have scoffed at the thought of an activity like yoga. Hardly calorie burning is it? What’s the point!

Thankfully the new, better-informed version of myself realises that there are so many benefits to working on your mobility, not least in order to grow older with grace rather than like a rusty robot.

It doesn’t even need to be a big deal. If you want to do yoga there’s tons of good videos on YouTube likeĀ Yoga with Adriene andĀ Yoga on The Body Coach, but you can just do 10 minutes of stretching in the morning and it’ll make a massive difference. A routine like this takes no time at all and really does help!

So. That’s just a quick one from me today, but the take away is don’t forget mobility and stretching to keep your joints oiled and moving slowly and with ease.
